About Banbury PhysiotherapyThe practice was established in 1993 and was situated in West Bar St. Rhian Pirotte took over ownership of the clinic in January 2005 and since we have moved premises to 18 Marlborough Rd in September 2007.
The long standing history of the practice has ensured that we have very good working relationships with the community and local GP's and consultants. We are able to offer the public a very high level of Physiotherapy services with almost immediate access. All our physiotherapists are chartered and member of the Health Professions Council. We are also recognised by all major insurance companies.
Rhian Pirotte BSc. (Hons), MCSP, MHPC, AACP Rhian qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Physiotherapy from St. Georges Hospital Medical School which is part of the University of London. Rhian has specialised in musculoskeletal disorders and occupational health. With over 10 years experience in a wide range of physiotherapy practices, Rhian utilises her specialist skills to offer patients clinical excellence in all aspects of their assessment and treatment. Rhian has also worked with elite athletes at the WRU, Newcastle FC, Everton FC and Chelsea FC.
Lorraine Neal BSc. (Hons), MCSP, MHPC, AACP
Lorraine Neal started with us in February 2007. Lorraine is an experienced and motivated physiotherapist with excellent manual therapy skills and over 15 years of specialist experience behind her. She has worked in both the NHS and private sector and also in industry and the Ministry Of Defence. Lorraine is an asset to the clinic as she brings her breadth of knowledge and experience to the practice.
Neil Poulton BSc (Hons), MCSP, HPC, AACP
Neil first qualified as a Sports Scientist and worked as a personal trainer and rehab therapist before re-training as a Physiotherapist, qualifying from Coventry University. After qualifying he spent time in America gaining a variety of postgraduate qualifications, specialising in the biomechanics of functional movement. Neil works with all musculoskeletal and sports injuries utilising a wide variety of therapeutic techniques in his rehabilitation programmes. Neil uses all his experience and rehabilitation skills both in private practice and with his local rugby team.
Laura Williams BSc (Hons), PGDip, HPC, CSP, AACP, MACP
Laura graduated in 2004 from Coventry university and has since worked in the NHS and in private practice. She has a keen interest in sports injuries and their rehabilitation, she plays water polo at a national league level and is a keen sportswoman. Laura has recently completed a further qualification in Manipulative Physiotherapy at Cardiff university and is a member of the MACP, she is currently finishing the research project for her MSc. Laura utilises many therapeutic treatment techniques including acupuncture, joint manipulation and mobilisation techniques, soft tissue massage and electrotherapy.
Huw Jones BSc (Hons), HPC, MCSP
Huw graduated from Coventry University and has since been working in the NHS. Huw works with all musculoskeletal injuries and has a keen interest in sports injuries due to his sporting background as an international athlete and semi professional rugby player. He utilises a variety of treatment techniques including mobilisations, electrotherapy, soft tissue techniques and provides specific exercise programmes to patients to promote their recovery. The sole purpose of Banbury Physiotherapy is to provide an exceptionally high standard of patient care. We believe that we are able to offer a very high standard of physiotherapy which encompasses evidence based practice in all our assessments, diagnoses and treatments of musculoskeletal conditions.
We are able to give patients an extremely positive physiotherapy experience as we are highly knowledgeable, have excellent listening skills and can offer immediate appointments so that long waiting lists are avoided.
